It is easy, convenient and fresh to make ingredients from scratch with your Thermocooker. Not only is it fresh, great for people with allergies or dietary requirements, it is often also cost effective and added bonus – it saves space in your pantry!
Some of the things we make all the time:
Flours
Make the flour from the source, add the raw ingredients to mill to make flour

- Almond flour / Rice flour / Oat flour
- Add ingredients to the same quantity as your recipe requires
- Mix for 1 minute at Speed 10
- Sift flour and check for any large pieces, reprocess any large pieces until smooth
- Almond flour / Rice flour / Oat flour
Milks

- Almond milk
- Soak the almonds for 12 hours or overnight
- Rinse and drain
- Add to bowl 100g of Almonds 400g of water
- Blend for 3 mins at speed 10
- Strain milk through a nut milk bag and store for up to 3 days
- Coconut milk
- Add 100g of coconut (desiccated or shredded) and 400g of water
- Blend for 2mins at Speed 10
- Strain milk through a nut milk bag and store for up to 3 days
- Oat Milk
- Add 100g of oats and 400g of warm water
- Blend for 30 seconds at speed 10
- Check if the milk is blended well, if not blend again for another 10 seconds at speed 10
- Strain milk through a nut milk bag and store for up to 3 days
- Almond milk
Sugars
From plain white sugar you can make both caster sugar and icing sugar

- Add ingredients to the same quantity as your recipe requires
- Caster sugar: mix for 10 Seconds Speed 10
- Icing sugar: mix for 1 minute at Speed 10
- Add ingredients to the same quantity as your recipe requires
Nut Butters
Make butter from nuts, use the same method for any of these nuts: Almond Butter, Hazelnut Butter, Cashew Butter or Peanut Butter

- Add 500g of unsalted roasted nuts and a pinch of salt to the bowl
- Blend for 30 seconds, Speed 5 and scrape down the bowl
- Blend for 2 minutes, Speed 5 and scrape down the bowl
- Repeat process until you reach the desired consistency
